Rockingham and Penguin Island

We made a short drive to Point Peron in Rockingham with the most beautiful cove we have ever seen.  For us Texans, the coastal views were surreal.  We hoped to swim with some Dolfins that are known to play with snorklers.  However, okay, I will say it, I was a little than just a little nervous and did not have swim fins (my excuse anyway) to make it easier to manuver.

From Rockingham, we took Ferry ride over to Penguin Island.  This small Island is home to over 200 pairs of Small Penguins (Real Name).  It also is home to a small Sanctuary that cares for 10 of the little guys athat can not be returned to the wild.  We made it just in time for feeding time.

The island is also home to a large group of Pelicans and Sea Lions live on the neighboring small Islands.
